Indeed. One of the many quality songs from that great folk rock band The Levellers (who I guarantee none of you will have ever heard of!) was called "Another Man's Cause" and although was written many years before this latest war, the lyrics I feel are entirely appropriate when thinking about the British Army fighting in Iraq. Here's a few of said lyrics:
"..... Just in whose name do these brave young heroes fall?
And how many more are going to answer that call?
They're going to fight - and die - in another country's war,
They're going to die for a religion they don't believe in at all,
They're going to die in a place they should never have been at all,
Should never have been at all...."
Your place in history, Mr. Anthony Blair, has been assured....
