Bill wrote:Exactly the same bloody crap that I got last year--- actually to say it's crap is unfair as my wife always buys quality but it's the same every year.

2 packs of socks

2 packs of underpants

2 shirts -- nice but expensive

1 pair of trousers

1 jumper / pullover

All from M & S and not cheap at well over a hundred pounds for the lot.

I wouldn't mind but as she's not worked for some while I'm giving her money to buy me stuff I don't really need and certainly not what I wanted

Did I get what I wanted ------ NO I BLOODY DIDN'T   --- why -- because it wasn't expensive enough

I could have saved her ( or myself as I had to give her the money in the first place ) about £80 if she had bought me the item I wanted.

I've come to the conclusion that there's a certain lack of imagination with my wife's idea of buying Christmas presents  but at least I'm never surprised -- I just can't understand why she asks what I want then goes out and buys exactly the same as she did last year :? .

Bill

Like Bill, I got a couple of expensive shirts.

They were Saddam ones, flown in from Iraq!

They were a bit tight around the neck but they hang very well.

That joke is doing the rounds in the UK as I speak.

Poor Saddam! Ask the thousands of victims of this psychopath if they feel the same way.

Let him burn in hell tonight.

Why the British hate Saddam so much they have to say this joke in every thread? As if he is the only dictator around! There have been worst dictators supported by US and UK in many countries. I think even Saddam himself was a nice guy for the Americans when it suited them several years ago! Ok so now back to the topic :P I got money, money, money :D But I spent all of it and even more as I made some expensive gifts like Notebook computer, Digital Media Player and things like that :)
