2 packs of socks
2 packs of underpants
2 shirts -- nice but expensive
1 pair of trousers
1 jumper / pullover
All from M & S and not cheap at well over a hundred pounds for the lot.
I wouldn't mind but as she's not worked for some while I'm giving her money to buy me stuff I don't really need and certainly not what I wanted
Did I get what I wanted ------ NO I BLOODY DIDN'T --- why -- because it wasn't expensive enough
I could have saved her ( or myself as I had to give her the money in the first place ) about £80 if she had bought me the item I wanted.
I've come to the conclusion that there's a certain lack of imagination with my wife's idea of buying Christmas presents but at least I'm never surprised -- I just can't understand why she asks what I want then goes out and buys exactly the same as she did last year .
