I entirely agree that the more direct interaction between the two Cypriot communities the more likely they will realize how similar we are in our aspirations , culture , family ties and above all how fair minded and reasonable people most Cypriots are.
Many years ago I decided that I would never never get involved in Cyprus politics , apart from AKEL and maybe diko or dysi I really do not know anything else. I have tremendous respect for what our Cyprus politicians have , under very difficult situations , none more so than directly after the invasion , have achieved in terms of real prosperity . I do not subscribe to any political party , I did and still do , respect Mr.Klerides for being there during the most crucial time of our history in July 1974 when the Greek (Greece ) politicians ??? became suddenly extinct and remember clearly Mr Klerides , pipe in the mouth and standing like a rock defending what was left of Cyprus. They were difficult times and he never crumbled.
