If you are relocating to paphos and have documents to prove 6 months ownership in EU prior to your move, you should get it in duty exempt, however, the road tax on that size engine is quite high!

Shipping around £500 on a roll on roll off basis...

Worth it tho

:D

Thanks for the info G.MAN :D

the engine is a supercharged 5.4 so i expect the roadtax to be high
but in the UK its taxed and classed as a commercial vehicle due to
being a pick up, so i dont know if that will make any difference?

but its perfect for cyprus the aircon is ice cold! and its handy for shopping,
well thats what i said to my wife
and not that its got 380bhp+ and sounds, and goes like a jet!

Boy racers never die, they just get older!

You may possibly get it taxed same as a pickup/twin cab which would mean a saving i think...

Yeah I know they are a 5.4ltr supercharged.. wicked motors, look great with a jetski on the back, better make sure you tell the wife that as well..

I met Andy Robinson too many years back at his place in Basingstoke.

I was contemplating having him make up a full chassis for a Ford RS2000 droop snoot that I had at the time. Was planning on smallblock chevy driving a 2-speed powerglide transmission - boring but consistant times down the quartermile.

I think Andy raced a Nova at the time. It really was too many years ago and I'm suffering brain fade.

Bringing over a De Tomaso to Cyprus soon to keep those Jap riceburners in their place :D

HOWDY G.MAN,
I'm selling her to a Pro Driftting Champion from Eire for £4000,she cost me £6000 2yr ago,but their ten a penny now cause no one can afford the insurance premiums,i was ok as i got her insured on a yearly 5k max penalty along with my red firebird, she was punted on ebay for being a bad girl to often i.e never had my hand out my pocket.......yes a bit like the ex wife.
P.S I was hoping to import maybe another skyline or scooby straight from japan to limasol, any thoughts ?

High revving Jap motors just don't do it for me. They need blowers to get any kind of decent torque figures on the dyno and then you've got the narrow power band.

Get a real motor:

I don't have a Pantera but the much rarer Longchamp GTS. Unfortunitely all my pic's are on the PC back in London. Until I move permanently (next month) to Cyprus you'll have to make do with these:

http://web.mac.com/kirbyschrader/longchamp/spyder.html

And one for sale in the US at twice the price they normally sell for:

Enjoy.
