I don't run over cats,dogs etc as i have a concience.
I drive a Nissan Skyline 2.5 GTS/T in the UK and i do admit to being a bit of a speed junkie but only on the right roads, and if i can avoid hitting wildlife i will as we've got a lot of wild cats, rabbits, pheasants, partrige, wild deer up here.

I'm impressed -- you mean you don't swerve across the road to hit a dog or cat like the Cypriot boy racers do  .

I've seen it happen so many times that I'm almost disappointed when they don't aim for them  .

Now I'm jealous --- building a kit car has been one of my dreams since I put a new body on a mini -- I reasoned that putting a new body shell on a mini was almost the same as constructing a kit jobby  .

Sadly at first I didn't have the money then after I had the money but no time  .

Oh well --- perhaps one day

Highlander, as far as I am concerned, arguements are over and I hold no grudges... if I still own it when you are out next year (I have had some offers to sell it) then you are welcome to a ride...

If not then I will have a skyline GTR or a Mitsi evo by then

:D

I went to MNR in Harrogate to build my car... took 3 weeks including getting it SVA'd Completed it last november, 2 weeks before I shipped it to Cyprus... 1200cc so only cost £600 in import duty and £130 to register inc road tax...

All in all it owes me around £15k cyprus, so with the right offer I will part with it... we are just fitting a new uprated clutch and radiator to it at the moment...

It runs toyo 888 tyres (track day tyres, road legal) 0-100km/h in around 3.1seconds 6 speed sequential gearbox + quaiffe reverse box for 6 reverse speeds as well.. :D :D

Top speed around 130 mph at the red line, which is more than fast enough..

Marshie

If you are relocating to paphos and have documents to prove 6 months ownership in EU prior to your move, you should get it in duty exempt, however, the road tax on that size engine is quite high!

Shipping around £500 on a roll on roll off basis...

Worth it tho

Thanks for the info G.MAN :D

the engine is a supercharged 5.4 so i expect the roadtax to be high
but in the UK its taxed and classed as a commercial vehicle due to
being a pick up, so i dont know if that will make any difference?

but its perfect for cyprus the aircon is ice cold! and its handy for shopping,
well thats what i said to my wife
and not that its got 380bhp+ and sounds, and goes like a jet!

Boy racers never die, they just get older!

what Cyprus needs is a proper drag strip !!!!!! hopefully that would get some of the boy racers to do some real racing, with there cars or bikes, in a controlled environment and off the streets 8)
