Thank you so much for those. Until 2013 we have to make do with 2 visits a year to Cyprus, and we welcome the chance to see the island when we're stuck here in the UK. And you are right - it is a beautiful island!

First of all I'll apologize to Serge -- but I'll stand by my original post --the only thing I would change is that that the post was inviting you to visit a web site ( he might as well have put the link in the post ) as I said I clicked on what appeared to be an innocent link in another forum and got a load of shite and a trojan virus.

My post was merely asking you all to be careful as it was the guys first post and as such feel that I've done nothing wrong asking folk to be careful.

So let me rewrite the last part of my post to keep you happy sotos.

I may be wrong ( and I hope I am ) but as this is the first post from this person and it's asking you to visit a web site I would be very suspicious.

Yes I thought I was knowledgeable regarding suspicious web sites too but as you say they are very clever and make the web site sound as innocent as possible --- so beware you could be next -- there are a lot of people not as experienced as you and sometimes a timely word can avert disaster.

I bet you were not the first to visit the web site and also bet that Serge is not Cypriot.

According to the posts Bananiot and Hazza were the first to post that they had visited the site and pronounce it safe then others came flooding in after -- including me.



Anyway not to worry -- I'll keep my observations , opinions and possible fears to my self in future .


One last thing I must say ---Serge -- they are truly beautiful images you have taken

Somebody joining a forum just to post a link to his website is a bit spammy at least. So I agree with you for that! I have NOD32 Antivirus and it always warns me when there is a trojan or other virus in some website or download. It is much better from Norton and McAfee. Highly recommended!

Bill as I said before you was completely right (and your post helped me not to do same mistake again), I made mistake because it was my first time ever in forums and I already apologized for that. Now by the way I feel proud that so many nice people are talking about my post. Also I have to say that I am not Cypriot by origin, but I am Cypriot by how I feel (I think second is most important).
