How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

oh Kikapu you really have thought me a lesson on that one! lol

its funny u blame me for arrogance with in a post such as that one...i believe i have not been rude to anyone for no real reason, but sure go ahead ignore all that, blame the new kid, and i dont think anybody here has put me into my place so far, all i get is the same old crap i get from any greek walking down the street, everyone here is so quick at attacking but no one is really concentrating on the real issues im advocating, so kikapu before u go ahead and try teaching humility to strangers i suggest u take a bit of your own medicine first, u need it a lot more then i do....

i think i have already mentioned in my 3rd or 4th post ever, that i have been following this forum for a few days prior to signing up, and yes im still looking for thooose clever debates that attracted me here in the first place, but so far all i got was plain street talk mixed with a bit of sorry and outdated facts about the cypriot problem. i must say i dont like conflict but i do enjoy giving a few llicks to disrespectfull people but on the contrary, i think everyone deserves respect, even the ppl you dislike the most....

Actually what you said about venetian blinds was a very good AND very observatory. Believe it or not I was always wondering the same thing.

Sorry if I sound kind of rude, but I beleive the vast majority of Americans are indeed ignorant.
Here's a typical conversation with an American
A: We are Ammericans. (with double "m"). The best nation in the world!
B: Oh really? Have you seen other nations?
A: No.
B: Have you traveled anywhere?
A: Sure. I went twice to New York

Pyrpolizer,
thank you for the approval! after my 3 years in germany, i really hated americans when i returned. even when in germany, i hated the stereotypical american. i feel fortunate to live in NY, i feel this part of the states is not full of the "typical" sterotyped american. i know what you mean. i just hope that most of the people on this furum realize that not all americans are like that.

You will soon realise that if it has not got a bit of Greek in it it is not good enough. I suppose that does not include you because you are in love with a GC so you have had a bit of Greek in you.

actually, when i lived in germany, i had a turkish boyfriend for a short time. i don't remember his name, he didn't speak english, only german with a turkish accent, which was hard for me to understand. we always had to have an interpreter on our dates. needless to say, it didn't last long. but i do remember he was an incredible kisser. the best i ever had!

and the thing with my GC is not working out-since he is in CY and i am in NY, so we are both moving on... but he will ALWAYS be VERY special to me. it's been a really long time since i have been in love, and i really loved him. he was definately one of a kind.
