the US did prevent turkey from invading twice.

the third time it didnot.

we tend to forget about the first two times.... you on the other hand tend to forget the last one
selective memory is the basic characteristic of this forum...

shahmaran , you are beginning to get it .There are two sides to every story, two atrocities two propaganda but ONE CYPRUS. The comments you made on how brave the Turkish army is , are comments made every day by the Greek bullshitters of how brave Greece and her army are. You are not alone unfortunately.

OK GG thank you for your straight answers.
You are most welcome here.
Actually what you said about venetian blinds was a very good AND very observatory. Believe it or not I was always wondering the same thing.

Sorry if I sound kind of rude, but I beleive the vast majority of Americans are indeed ignorant.
Here's a typical conversation with an American
A: We are Ammericans. (with double "m"). The best nation in the world!
B: Oh really? Have you seen other nations?
A: No.
B: Have you traveled anywhere?
A: Sure. I went twice to New York

And the Greeks are annoyed because the Turks only see their side of the coin. Being a Cypriot I can see both sides , you want to try it sometimes. I have made in excess of 1500 posts on this forum, and yet on not one posting did I put the blame on the Cypriots T/Cs or G/Cs for all the conflicts we endured. I have blamed foreign influences ie Tukey and Greece. I would never dream of denigrating my own people , the Cypriots .

Why don't you go back and read some of the previously written posts on this forum, before you can make a comment about how "simple" the conversations are here. You just jumped in yesterday "cold turkey" and tried to throw your weight around with great degree of arrogance, and got yourself into trouble with your immature comments, which I'm sure is what you're used to saying, amongst your friends...a lot of trash talking.

At age 26, try to be a little humble with what you think you know about the Cyprus problems. I guess Kafies has put you in your place tonight. If you want to have meaningful conversation on this forum, we will respond in kind. If you want to just wave your flag and start giving people lessons on things you don't know much about, or have any personal experiences, then I suggest you do more reading and listening, and less in giving lectures to others.
