Partition starts to look permanent.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Americans and the British are not the world. For example Britain is the only country which fanatically supports the membership of Turkey in EU. You can not say that the world wants Turkey in EU because of that. They are your friends and they support you and not us.

No you are hostile and in the worst form actually a chicken hostile, because you are supporting those same people that are keeping me out of my home. You support those who say that the people who have moved in my home without my permission have the right to sell it to others you support that your vote should have more power than mine... you support those that have barbwired my and your beach and not letting us have a beer together there... do you still say you are not hostile against me, my family and my children?

The same can be said in reverse Strahd, you are a recognized country with all the advantages and benefits that brings but you do everything within your power to punish and isolate me. You try to force me to live in a GC state run by GCs as a minority, this i do not want and will never give into. I want to share the island and allow you to go home, have no doubt the majority of Tcs think this way but we have tried sharing it together and it didn't work we tried to agree a plan to share again it didn't work, the only thing that does work has been the last 32 years where we have all lived a peaceful existence. We all have to come to terms with the facts that if a solution is ever found Cyprus will be a BBF where you will live in the north if you wish under a TC administration and we will live in the south under GC administration joined together at the federal level as one country. ıf we continue as we are for the next 150++ years Cyprus will be permanently partitioned for good.

But YOU ARE A MINORITY ON THIS ISLAND! Why should you be treated otherwise?

We have a stake in this island just like you, and we also have a partnership agreement dated 1960 to share. 1974 changed everything we are now 2 states one recognized one not, this you have to consume and digest as it is the only way Tcs will ever consider reunification via BBF. The boundaries are in place but can be adjusted to accommodate as many refugees return as possible, the end product if we ever agree a solution is a north and south divide with TC admin in the north and Gc admin in the south. Why is that so hard to comprehend? we do not want to be ruled by GCs alone in our own country we want to have a say in our own future, is that so bad?

Nothing difficult to understand really. Its simple, effective and sensible.

Strahd leave the bullshit about the minority status. We have the luxury of choosing our own destiny now, nobody can take that away from us. Get used to it.

One thing is for sure, the GCs need to up the game considerably. They have no-one to champion their cause unlike the TCs. The only people who will support them are those who want to keep Turkey out of the EU completely which is not in the interests of Cyprus.
The Annan plan has been enormously successful for the UK, US, and Turkey as a device to change perceptions. If most journalists can't be bothered to find the real facts, most people certainly won't.
We can sit with our blinkers on thinking we're doing fine but we're not.
Tpap has got to pull some decent tricks out of the bag, he's doing nothing of the sort at the moment.
There was a lot of good will towards the GCs and that's gone largely out of the window, because the GCs did not accept a biased plan. Meanwhile Turkey says the problem must be resolved at the UN, where it is in blatant breach of a number of security council resolutions. The only time Turkey will accept anything is when it gets what it wants it seems....unfortunately I think it will get it want.

I would say the exact opposite. It is because the journalist as well as the public that know the truth now that you are in the mess you are in.

Pirate? You're having a laugh aren't you. more like your bitch for all those years you slapped me around and dominated me.

Well I'm now free and seeking divorce from you. Here have your ring back. O
