Living/Working in Cyprus

Postby malc61 » Mon Dec 18, 2006 10:30 pm

Hi everyone

My wife and I are considering moving to Cyprus in the near future. We want to know a few things and your input would be appreciated.

I am a fully qualified chef of about 25 years' experience, I have recently changed careers to Driving Instuction', this I would like to keep doing for the forseeable future.I am fulkly qualified in this.

My wife is a book-keeper and also doing reception work.

We have thought about starting a B&B over there.

Where are the 'nicer' places to buy, and where should we avoid?

How easy is it to get work there, preferably driving instruction work for me until we sort out a B&B?

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

A b&b in Cyprus? There are lots of them, hotels and apartments to choose from. The competition is fierce Malcolm(?) You would have to do something much different than the guy down the road. I suggest doing something totally different.

Sorry pal

However, driving instructor could be a different proposition as the Cypriots are on the worlds worst drivers........ :)
