I live in Sheffield and have a shop on Ecclesall Road called Liquorice. hence the name on the forum.Your face looks familiar, ever been in?

We live in Dronfield although I was brought up in Sheffield, I still play in local bands (Rock, Blues, Pop, Country Rock etc) although I'm winding down due to our pending move to Cyprus.
What type of shop is it and where on Ecclesall Road, my Wife worked in th post office just past Endcliffe park until the government closed it ?

You're right, Illegal Mexicans probably make less than "slave wages". They cannot be working and making good money, and be getting "Food Stamps" at the same time. They also cannot but alcohol with those "Food stamps". They may not be paying taxes, because they don't even make enough money to qualify them to be paying taxes...how sad is that. One has to make over $6,000 per year to pay taxes on individual claim, and that is if they are working legally. But we know many good church going God fearing bosses hire these people "under the table" so that they will pay them less, so that average overweight American get their Burgers and Produce at a very low rate. Just exactly how many "white Americans" have you ever seen work the fields GG. So stop with your belly aching on that they get medical assistance from the General Hospitals, after waiting there for hours in pain, because they cannot afford to buy Medical Insurance. You really ought to travel around the country a little bit more my dear, to see how much the Mexicans, Illegal or not are adding to the economy of the USA.

They don't pay taxes because they are not registered if they were registered the employers would have to pay more so that they could pay their mandatory dues.
It is just the same in the UK, the fat cats at the top not poorer working class employ these people in favour of emplying inidigenous people.

those illegals are raking in the money. they live 12 in an apartment made for 2 or 3, all paying into rent. they get fat on my tax dollars, paying for htier mendical and food stamps. they sit around getting drunk and getting into fights, and making babies my tax dollars are going to have to support.
and they do make decent money, they don't pay taxees, which is how they can get medical assistnace and food stamps. all aiding them into buying up the house next door and letting thier extended family move in.
i live in the city, a suburb of NYC. there are no fields here, so the illegals i see are all contractors, painters, landscapers. they work hard, and they make very decent wages.
i have all the empathy for the underdog and the poor. but we all have choices, and if you are going to sit around getting drunk and living off the government, i have no pity for you. there are no free handouts, unless of course, you are an illegal, it appears, in this wonderful country i call home. hmmmm, maybe i should have taken my husbands last name.....
