Enjoyed the time I spent in Cyprus as an UN Peacekeeper just over 20 years ago.

No offence to you CanW, but the UN sucks and someone needs to remind them to read their own F charter and apply some of their rules.

If you still have buddies in the Usless Nations, then perhaps you could pass on the request.

B25 what makes you think I have any / or have had any friends at the UN?
I was just a Canadian soldier on a deployment approved by the Canadian government. Don't for a second think those UN soldiers on duty in Cyprus or anywhere else in the world for that matter are part of the decision process, just like your soldiers on the line (or anywhere else) play no part in your countries policies. If the soldiers had a say I'm sure the lines would be almost empty.

As for the fish yes it was decent & only one of three.

And this me (in 1999) - the guy in the yellow is Nawang Sherpa. The big mountain to the left is the biggest: From this point I could see 5 of the 6 highest mountains in the World: Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyo..

Stunning.
