HI I AM MOVEING TO CYPRUS IN FEB I HAVE CONTAINER .I AM GOING TO BUY A FEW ELECTRICAL APP HOOVER STEREO ETC .IS IT BETTER TO TAKE THEM OUT OF BOXES AND MAKE THEM LOOK USED OR IS IT OKAY TO LEAVE AS NEW.I NOW A FEW YEARS AGO THEY WOULD TAX YOU ON ANYTHING THEY WANTED .THAT WAS NEW THAT YOU DIDNT BUY THERE

Why do you shout so loud?

To import electrical appliances duty/tax free, they should have been used for >6 months and you may be asked for the original invoices.

Hello we shipped all brand new electrical items over just in January this year, never cost anything in Duty, my daughter did the same never cost her a penny.

As long as you are bringing them from another EU state there is no duty.....
