Another nonsense. Ercan is in the EU at an area where the Aquis is suspended. There is pending a decision at the EU court as to the exact meaning of this suspension.

To make a long story short any airline that will dare land without permission from the Authority that represents Cyprus in the EU will be sued, and will be sued for all its assets and liabilities until it goes bankrupt.

Just for the satisfaction of seeing smug people like eat your own words I hope these flights happen and the EU slaps you into place, you are one sick individual who believes in one set of rules for GCs and another for TCs keep them isolated so they will beg for a solution, well up yours you will be dead and long gone before there is any solution in Cyprus. One reason I guess I saw so many north cyprus residents flying BA from larnaca rather than subject themselves to their aircaft and hospitality...

I've read all the replies and it never ceases to amaze me the arrogance of the Turks from Cyprus they perpetrated in the theft of 37% of the Republic of Cyprus's lands made 250,000 people mainly Greek Cypriot refugees,
murdered 6,000,1619 are missing, committed atrocities on the Greek Cypriots,sold their icons,turned their churches into toilets etc. sold Greek Cypriots homes and land,occupy Greek Cypriots houses and they have the audacity to say they've been mistreated.They are an minority always were and will always be how can people who amount to 18% of the population think that Cyprus should be run on an equal footing with them? You don't hear the Armenians,Maronites etc claim they are entitled to equal power,they know and accept the fact that they are minorities and the Turks from Cyprus have to accept that also. When Denktash called Turks from Cyprus left their homes in the South and moved into stolen Greek houses in the North and now economically it's not great for them they're moaning now, they brought it all on themselves.Cyprus is Greek, it was, it is and always it will be that's a fact.[/b]

Issy 1956 , you know my views on the "Cyprus" being Greek or anything else , it is Cyprus the home of the Cypriots .However neither you nor I can ignore some facts . In the 50s , the overwhelming majority of G/Cs , perhaps 70 -80% (Of the total Cyprus population ) wanted , wrongly as far as I'm concerned , union with Greece. It was a dream that had been nurtured and encouraged by the political , educational and religious bodies. Nothing wrong with a nation , 70-80-% , aspiring for a union with a country they called "motherland " I was one of that 70-80% .
Ask today how many G/Cs want " Enosis " and that 70 -80% becomes 15-25% (Of the G/C population )
Your comment on the troops , (Turkish )being "guests" is a little overstretched to say the least and I'm sure that having posted that , you realize that they are nothing of the sort , neither can you reasonably expect anyone of the 200 thousand refugees to accept such an unbecoming label attached to what they justifiably see as nothing less that an invading force.
