Direct Flights to TRNC from UK and Sweeden

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

It takes CY over 4 hours to fly to Moscow. If they could fly directly over the occupied areas it would halve the time.

Here's a deal for you. Allow us direct international flights and we'll let you fly over our airspace.

We don't mind taking that bit longer. Anyway the occupied areas aren't your airspace. They are occupied airspace....

Typical, you would cut your own nose to spite your face. I wonder if you had a switch to cut off our oxygen supplies how long it would take you to use it.
I would guess around 5 seconds.

I dont find there is anything wrong with direct flights to the TRNC if in exchange the CY can fly over that area also to cut their time in transit. It is win-win. Why do we have to object to every darned little thing...

Firstly its not occupied airspace that will cut the trip in half but Turkish airspace over turkey. This is something Turkey has no choice about so it will be done anyway due to the protocol Turkey has already signed!!
Secondly Andri, if you allow direct flights to Ercan airport, an airport not governed by the government of cyprus, not liable to the FIR centre of the government of Cyprus before a solution is met you are basically recognising the north as its own separate state.

Its only fair, Turkey has the numbers and millitary power to maintain its occupation, we have these nigling things called articles in INTERNATIONAL LAW to maintain our position.

C'mon Andri, direct flights to an unrecognised state??!!. The airports are illegal. The only legal ports of entry are in the ROC. The airtraffic controllers in the occupied areas are already interferring with call signs etc and causing problems to incoming flights.
