We cant deny a flag is sacred to us all including Greeks and GC's. But I would still argue the one that gave the order was a trigger happy bastard. The one to shoot would have been a simple Private who was simply carrying orders. Never the less they should both stand for trial.

People have burned the british flag for centuries.....why we even have muslim immigrants burning the british flag in our own streets! But i think we have learned that you dont need to die or kill people because of a flag ( america may take a different view) or what people do to it....
What is apparent from threads on this forum is there will never be peace or harmony in Cyprus because there is too much hatred directed at CYPRIOTS either side of the green line.
on the forum counter insults follow insults and each side makes disparaging remarks about the other.....if you will never agree how do you expect your politicians to?
