Hi Dee,
A friend of mine has just renewed his passport, and I think he said he did it in Nicosia at the British Consulate. I'll check with him this morning and let you know the details.
To be pedantic, the British High Commission, not the Conulate! As I understand it, those countries which were part of the British Empire have BHC and those which were not, have Consulates.
I think the reciprocal applies: Cyprus has a High Commission in the UK but a Consulate in the USA.
To be even more pedantic, the Consular Services of the British High Commission. A High Commission is the equivalent of an Embassy (not a Consulate) within the Commonwealth (not the Empire)!
Seems to be costing triple what it ever it used to be and thats in the UK. Need to renew my passport soon so was trying to see what is needed these days. Cost is now £66

I was told by my father couple of weeks ago in London, that his next 10 year passport was going to cost around £ 100 + pounds. He may have said £ 120 pounds.
