It is precisely why our Island has suffered for so many years and dare I say until its people grasp their own identity , fly their Islands' flag and not the foreign flags that DO NOT REPRESENT CYPRUS any where in the world community , division will carry on and our Island will become permanently divided. I'm certain that future generations , if allowed by the Church , Mosque and Schools to develop the Cypriot identity will put all the blame for our division to the likes of those "foreign " Cypriots . I'm a Cypriot that speaks fluent Greek I'm not a Greek but a proud Cypriot Greek .

Actually I have noticed that most Greek Speakers on this forum tend to include Turkish Speaking Cypriots as Cypriots. It is the Turksih Cypriots who prefer to be called Turkish Cypriots and separate themselves. Just my observation. I urge all of us to take a moment reflect on the past and perhaps realise that what has happened happened we cannot change the past but we can work together to shape the future for all Cypriots to live in harmony no divisions, no identification as Greek/ Turksih or whatever but as one peoples of Cyprus living and sharing this beautiful enviable place on the planet.

Perhaps we can put moe effort in saving the environment and curbing overdevelopment and turning the buffer zone into a PEACE park for all to enjoy with a bike trail from varosha to the most northwestern point of the green line.

May Allah guide us all with love.

Can you find out the name for me please?

Hi Andry,

I will get the details from my daughter and pass them on to you. How about you pm me with your details and I'll UPS some to you.

This is the least I can do for you for all the times I upset you.

Btw, I hope hubby doesn't think I'm coming on to you. Just in Case, Mr Andry I'm 53 and happily married (33 years). So no ulterior motive, anyway you are married to an angel and should have nothing to fear.

Kikapu, you really do need to go back home now. 42 years is a long time to stay away. You've even forgotten the language.

If you put a comma under the c it would sound like "gecheler" it is in fact geceler without the comma on the c. You are correct about the "s" though.

Of course I am. PM me with your address plus other goodies you miss and desire from home. Maybe moluhiya or anything that you fancy.

I'm in north London surrounded by Greek, Turkish and Kurdish shops. There is nothing we cant buy from back home in this area. Send me a list ASAP.

This will be your Christmas/new year present from my family to yours.
