Aaaah, fresh, just made halloumi, when you chew it the sensation is amazing. UPS some over please.

This brings back a memory very strongly.A little village in the hills of Paphos.I watch my Auntie milk the goats. we take the milk home.I watch her make halloumi over the open fire stove,in the darkest corner of the tiny cottage.I can see the flames of the fire. Can still smell the hotly made hellim. And the taste.....Hmmmmmmm...

OK! I am now tucking into chocolate bisquits and "teneke" helim. Are you all happy now I won't sleep very well..... :x

Now to get back to the original question: Why are we so greedy.
I for one will admit that I am darned greedy. I want all the halloumi in the world just for me. I might share a bit with a couple of people on this forum. The rest of you can eat mozarella.

You can eat it with anything, that is the great thing about it. Sweat and sour. Of course my favourite is with water melon or sugar melon. I even make up a sandwich with helim and helva and a nice olive oil butter mmmmmmmmmm!
