Yes, they are paranoid here. I just hope they let the halloumi come through when my folks come in January...

My daughter found a shop in NY who apparently sell halloumi.

Andry, my son travelled from Boston to NY just to buy the stuff. He says its the real thing.

i only have to go the oldies to get the best haloumi ever. made by a tc couple that take pride in the art of making excellent halloumi.

and don't you just love eating it when its just made?

Aaaah, fresh, just made halloumi, when you chew it the sensation is amazing. UPS some over please. :lol: :lol:

This brings back a memory very strongly.A little village in the hills of Paphos.I watch my Auntie milk the goats. we take the milk home.I watch her make halloumi over the open fire stove,in the darkest corner of the tiny cottage.I can see the flames of the fire.Can still smell the hotly made hellim.And the taste.....Hmmmmmmm... :cry:
