pitsilos wrote:well if they are cypriots as you claim there is nothing to sort out but if they are not, yeah they can all migrate to greece, no problem with me.

I bet you would like to be left alone in an island of your own, it's obvious you are not getting along with people very well

pitsilos wrote:ps. when you mention the word cypriot does that apply to the tcs?

When it's just "cypriot" yes, TCs have ties with Turkey as GCs have ties with Greece. They speak the same language, listen to the same music, have many common traditions and have related cultures in general. Common culture is a reason people tend to recognise others as their kind, get used to it and please, PLEASE try to not be so rude

I just hoped you thought I was Cypriot and that you insulted my country without knowing that a Greek was reading your post, but I guess discretion is an unknown word to you

i don't know why its so hard for you to understand. i am a cypriot, period. i don't want to be rude, but can you block your left ear so when you say it out loud, pitsilos is a cypriot, the sound gets trapped in? can you atleast try it?

I bet you would like to be left alone in an island of your own, it's obvious you are not getting along with people very well

hey freud, i think you are running ahead of your self here. you got the first half right but you seemed to blow the second half away. a banana for the effort though. let me show you how your sentence should have sounded like
I bet you would like to be left alone on an island with just cypriots, it's obvious you are not getting along with people from the motherlands
please don't thank me

When it's just "cypriot" yes

so now we are all cypriots. why can't we always be cypriots. i don't see the yanks calling themselves poms, do you? or maybe you heard of the expression "here comes a yankie pom", coz i haven't.

I just hoped you thought I was Cypriot and that you insulted my country without knowing that a Greek was reading your post, but I guess discretion is an unknown word to you

Did I ever call you a Greek? Did I? What I said is that other Greek Cypriots feel Greek and that you are a minority. Can you please understand that I don't care what YOU are?

Bravo, well done. Thanks for the banana but I'll pass, the watermellon stuffed me. I can't believe this comes from a guy who just a few posts before played the "I'm older than you" card on me...

I already told you, it's common culture that binds people together, but as you can see I can repeat that for you without the swearing. Please don't thank me.

I thought you were just cypriot. I made it clear, I have no interest in what you are, but don't YOU want to clear it out for yourself?? And you don't have to worry about disappointing me "matey", dealing with crudes is not new to me

Nobody asked you to declare yourself a Greek, certainly not Greece, it's all about your own complexes. But some gratitude wouldn't hurt and if you don't feel like thanking Greece at least don't post stupid comments like this:
"lambro na tes kapsi tze tes dio tes hores" don't be offended, but it doesn't fit your age

I agree with you alexISS. I for one took advantage of the free education and I am forever grateful for it. I am Greek Cypriot and I am proud of that too. That doesnt mean that I hate all TCs, or feel less Cypriot. I like to know where I come from. It is what leads me to where I am going.

i am sorry to say andri, i just feel like a cypriot all my life, i know where i come from. born in lemeso, very near to the now long gone river behind the fire brigate on the leoforos, near the similidi building. now thats going back. we mingled with tcs everydate, i have very fond memories of those days. i think those days shaped my thinking of the cyprob as to what kind of a solution i want today. we didn't really associate with greece and turkey it was just as kids playing and being best of friends and learning to grow up together. it was simple, we were just plain cypriots.

It's a word with many meanings, one of them is Cruser-Destroyer (US Navy)

Again, I can't believe you played the "I'm older" card on me... A 3 year old could come up with something better, but not even a 3 year old would consider your comment so smart that it would require a second answer... Oh well age doesn't tell much about people's maturity nowadays...

pitsilos wrote:and i asked if you have heard of the expression "here comes a yankie pom", coz i haven't.

I haven't heard of it, but I have heard of "Australian Greeks", "French Canadians" and "German Belgians".

It's not a problem though, somehow you manage to make your comments matter less and less after each post of yours

That's a healthy attitude andri, if you feel Greek Cypriot, you are Greek Cypriot. If you feel Cypriot, you are Cypriot. Nobody, and certainly not pitsilos, should tell people what they are or aren't
