Zan, unlike you, I respect human life, I am not gloating over Turkey's mess, I am angered because of the suffering this mess causes. I really don't care if you believe me, I just wish you cared a little more about your own countrymen. I have no hate over Turks as you hate Greeks, what I do hate is the Turkish state that makes people's lives miserable. Please spare me the irony, it doesn't make you look smarter.

I do not hate Greeks, only the ones that hate me and mine. That goes for any nationality. As for the rest, I think ,like the others, you are more concerned about point scoring than actually worrying about your fellow Kurds. Why attack a man because he is from Bulgaria and does not agree with you, he is a Turk and that is all that matters to you and the fire starter.

Then you obviously believe all Greeks hate you, because you really seem to hate all Greeks.

Well, you are wrong. You are the one who kept trying to "score points" against Greece when you opened a series of Greek-bashing threads to which I tried to reply, although I couldn't keep up with your pace. It would be meaningless for me and anyone else to "score points" against Turkey anyway, that would hardly be a challenge.

la la zan how can anyone "score points" against turkey when turkey has a monopoly, and a champion at that, on scoring points against herself.

just look at the recent aresti case. a case where turkey shot herself in the foot. instead of negotiating a deal, it allowed herself to be penalized by the ECHR by paying damages and then having to honour the title. if this is ain't an own goal i don't know what is.

Yes Miltiades we are Cypriots First, but both sides would do best to remember their roots also, or else we will be a people more lost than we already are... There is nothing wrong with blacks being called African Americans, why does any side need to deny their roots for us to get along? Maybe all we need to do is grow the heck up. I consider the TCs to be my compatriots and I still consider the Greeks to be my brothers. Whenever I meet a Greek here in the US I get all excited. There is nothing wrong with acknowledging that and I don't think it makes me less a Cypriot. I wouldn't consider a TC less a Cypriot if they felt the same about Turkey. What we need to do, is not let those ties, guide us. Pretending the ties aren't there is a major mistake.

its different in melbourne, you run into greeks all the time, 3rd largest greek city in the world, and i don't get exited.

every time i say i am from cyprus they look at you as if you got lepracy ffs, and then you automatically know the next question, they can't just leave it at that, they ask greek or turkish and then i say christian cypriot. i ain't giving the f___ers the satisfaction.

sorry andri, I agree with miltiades on this one, to hell with mother lands. lambro na tes kapsi tze tes dio tes hores

Pitsilos, I think you partially misunderstood me, I am not saying lets call them motherlands and worship them. I am saying respect our roots and each other's roots. Of course, if you are mistreated by anyone, well I understand. I have met Turkish Cypriots, Greek Cypriots and Greeks here. All treat me like long lost family.

I think you need to go back and see who those posts were aimed at but I have to admit that some innocents were caught up in the crossfire. Please stop trying to tell me who I hate and who I don't, although again, another confession, it is all becoming a bit of a blur. As for bg, I think if you look back you will find that Ixiloss and DT were the attackers and you decided to move in on the action. They are hopless cases, but you?
