Acquiring so called confiscated property

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Sotos » Mon Dec 11, 2006 1:49 am

The English and Americans who buy stolen land are wannabies and the only way they can own property overseas is by buying stolen landfrom thieves in the occupied Cyprus.

You are right. After bringing all those uneducated Turks they brought the criminal fugitives from around the world and now they attract the bigest losers of Europe. They made the north a shithole :(

The sad thing is that the respectable TC's that existed have left and gone overseas, between London and Melbourne there's more TC's than the occupied North of Cyprus. What TC's don't realise is that they are the biggest loosers in all of this. Between the wannabies of British and Americans and the Anatolians they wont have any identity what so ever.

I say to Greek Speaking Cypriots lets just say we took a gamble we lost, keep things as they are we have propsered and succeeded over the past 30 years, lets keep doing what we are doing excelling even more getting on with EU business, keep the North the way it is.... close the borders so that the TC's can feel even safer in the north and lets keep Turkey out of the EU because this is the way TC's like it.

it has absolutely nothing with perhaps you want to take this. ...... I do't drink, I don't do drugs and I don't smoke ...... so when I get a parking fine i just pretent that i went out took lots of drugs, drunk lots of alcohol smoked and hence $77 parking fine is nothing if I had a great time.

so what I am suggesting to my fellow Greek Speaking Cypriots is that we pretend we went off to a casino had a great time lost a property here and there ......

But I'll be damned if we just gonna hand it ova .... lets keep it as is, because this is the impression I get from Turkish Cypriots and I stress TC's because they do not identify as Cypriots but rather identify as TC's.

I don't know what you call it in Turkey but in inEurope, anything that is taken without the permission of its rightful owner is usually considered stolen, and the person who takes it is usually known as a thief. Now lets see is that what happened to Greek Speaking Cypriot property in the North of Cyprus? Or have I been in a F ..king nightmare for the past F..king 32 years.

Humanist,
By your own definition, Greek Cypriots are thieves as well. did they get permission from its owners before building the Larnaca Airport on it? Of course not. Now you will tell me it was nationalized. Yes, so was all the Greek Cypriot land in the north.

What is good for the goose is also good for the gander.

Did you hear about the story of Bernard Shaw? You draw the parallel:

At a reception Bernard Shaw asked a nice young lady to dance with her. Whilst dancing he asked her if she would spend an evening with him for 1000 pounds (good money at the time). She accepted it with pleasure. Then he asked her if she would do the save for a fiver? "What what do you think I am?" she exclaimed. He said:"We agreed on what you are, the dispute is about the price".

Do you see what I mean? Now you work that one out.
