Acquiring so called confiscated property

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The difference is that TCs can live temporarily in our properties while our refugees can also temporarily live in TC properties in the free areas until a solution is found. On the other hand those foreigners come to Cyprus with the sole aim of exploiting what was stolen from us. They are the equivalent of those Nazis that were making jewellery out of the golden teeth of Jews. They are human scums, with no morals, and all they care about is how to profit regardless of how that is done.

Stand back boys I think shes about to blow...............................

So far nobody has faced any legal persecution for purchasing property in the TRNC so you need not take Piratis's vain threats seriously.

For example, a British couple which purchased properties in the South has been prosecuted in Britain but they have been acquitted. You may just have difficult time if you decide to visit the South, but I find it unlikely that the Greek Cypriot Administration will take any action against American citizens.

The land has not been stolen, it has been confiscated due to the absence of its former owners. All of these wartime confiscations can be appealed against at the property commission in the North, and if you are not satisfied at the ECHR.

Piratis whatever you will say the yankie will "buy" the stolen GC land man, haven't you seen the same scenario of so called "inquiries" in here?

The Tcs are masters in making fatal mistakes. Where do you think this "property" bussiness will lead them? Next generation of them will not be able to buy. Then what? Think about it.

Pirates never mind man ..... don't buy into it and into their games. One Ican only ake the assumption that Turksih Speaking Cypriots are thieves and we don't want them in our neighbourhoods and community because we know they are capable of stealing from us.

Perhaps the best thing is for the RoC to forget about it, leave it as is, keep them isolated and keep Turkey out of the EU.

Some ARE thieves humanist. Just look at the audacity of Elko.
Not all however. I am sad such people force us to generalise such accusations against all TCs

All Turkish Cypriots currently occupying land in the North that did not belong to them before 1974 are thieves and proud be so, as they get on this forum clearly stating that they are okay with stealing land then selling it off for profit. The English and Americans who buy stolen land are wannabies and the only way they can own property overseas is by buying stolen landfrom thieves in the occupied Cyprus.

I certainly don't want a thief living in my neighbourhood so lets keeps things as they are ... isolated north, Turkey out of EU and thriving South. No war nothing everyone happy.
