Don Giovanni

Postby cyprusgrump » Sun Dec 10, 2006 11:52 am

Did anybody else see Don Giovanni at the Rialto this weekend?

I went last night and thought it was absolutely excellent – great value at CY£20 per ticket (if you are ‘friends’ of the Rialto – CY£25 normal price) too. :D

I saw Don Giovanni at the Rialto last Saturday - it was absolutely wonderful. Plan to become a member of the Rialto next year.

Heard that operas are sometimes staged at the Paphos Castle - does anyone know where to find their programme?

Caroler

P.S. just shows how wrong one can sometimes be about a person.... would not have thought Cyprusgrump liked opera...

The Pafos shows are quite widely advertised.

We’ve bought tickets every year since we’ve been here and for one reason or another (we put the tickets somewhere safe one year and couldn’t find them :x ) have been unable to go.

Shakespeare at the Kourium Amphitheatre is another not-to-be-missed event.

I guess the tickets were in such a safe place not even you could attack them :D
There are always shows at the Curium Amphitheater but usually in the summer of course. Shows there are always something special. Used to watch there a lot when I was in Cyprus as I am from Episkopi.

When will that be? Who will perform it?
