How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

My eyes are open my friend. I know that some 100s of TCs have been killed during the intercommunal conflict.

I hope you also know that some 100s of GCs have been killed during the same period, that 6000 of GCs have been killed and 200.000 have been ethnically cleansed during the Turkish invasion, and overall many 10s of thousands of GCs have been butchered on several occasions since the Turks set their foot on our island.

Do you deny these facts paaul12? I never claimed that GCs never committed a crime. What I said is that the crimes that GCs committed are a drop in the ocean compared to what we suffered from the Turks, and still the Turks continue to use, exaggerate and promote that drop in the ocean, trying to excuse even more crimes and illegalities against us, like they have done for the 99% of the time since they set their foot in Cyprus.

It was mostly EOKA killing the GCs and blaming it onto the TCs. You must be very naive to believe that it was the TCs doing the killing. Oh whilst at it, you forgot to claim that TCs were the insurgents. That's what Makarios claimed at the time and made a laughing stock of himself.

sure sure, and TMT was an organization of giving out flowers.

Some GCs were killed by EOKA true, but at the same time some TCs were also killed by TMT for not following the partitionist orders. However the fact remains: TCs were killing GCs and GCs were killing TCs and both sides had about the same number of casualties from 63 to 68 that the conflict was mostly over. So stop trying to present yourselves as the innocent victims only.

??? excuses for what? The only ones who give excuses are you to excuse the illegal occupation of the northern part of Cyprus.

The 100% of what I say is the truth my friend. Thats why you have no facts and can only swear at me.

I talked about 10s of thousands of GCs butchered by the Turks on several occasions. The last one was the 6000 dead during the Turkish invasion. But since you question what I said, here is another one, just so nobody will have any doubts that what I say is nothing but the truth:

Throughout the period of Venetian rule, Ottoman Turks raided and attacked at will. In 1489, the first year of Venetian control, Turks attacked the Karpas Peninsula, pillaging and taking captives to be sold into slavery. In 1539 the Turkish fleet attacked and destroyed Limassol. Fearing the ever-expanding Ottoman Empire, the Venetians had fortified Famagusta, Nicosia, and Kyrenia, but most other cities were easy prey.

In the summer of 1570, the Turks struck again, but this time with a full-scale invasion rather than a raid. About 60,000 troops, including cavalry and artillery, under the command of Lala Mustafa Pasha landed unopposed near Limassol on July 2, 1570, and laid siege to Nicosia. In an orgy of victory on the day that the city fell--September 9, 1570--20,000 Nicosians were put to death, and every church, public building, and palace was looted.

And throughout the history of my Cyprus when a protector was elected as the first president of the republic of Cyprus he tried to exterminate one third of his people. There was no republic in the times you quote and certainly no president to do good by his subjects. If he had done what he was supposed to do and protect us and make Cyprus a prosperous place to live in then we would not be where we are today.
