8) Nice one dadalushe :lol: never thought of that! I love em! remind me to show you a picture of an 8 inch stick insect hanging off my glasses. :o dont suppose there are any of those in Cyprus, although i did spot a praying mantis!! :roll:

Named after the legend/folklore in the village we lived in back in the UK. (Bit chilly in the Yorkshire moors so the characters tend to be quite colourful!)

Inhabitants of adjoining villages were called 'Moonrakers' and 'Lilies'.

Small blue scottish type gnome thingies tend to say "Crivens!" a lot. I kind of liked it.

Earned my living flying, but also had a spell as a Paramedic during the aviation slump in the 80's when there were about 200 pilots for every job!
(In the Navy which was my first ever job after leaving school, a medic is called a Vet - they can't call anything by it's proper name in the Navy!)
Been interesting reading how usernames are chosen 8)

I got name "eccentric" in KL after some crazy thing that i did on first get-together of expat group I was part of ... later I joined web forum for group and choose this nick so that ppl can identify me with nick ...
