Holding my Moms hand as she passed away, saying good bye to my Father the night before his passing, hugging my dog so tightly and comforting her when she was put to sleep.

My results of my one year clear mammogram.

My holiday to Cyprus and deciding to buy a house over there and make a fresh start.

Sorry to have such sad memories of 2006, with the passing of my loved ones, I still have all the happy memories to bring to Cyprus with me.

Thank you.

Christmas will be difficult as it's the first one, and it was Moms birthday Boxing Day. Everyone tells me the "firsts" are the hardest.

I remain positive in the hope that a fresh start will bring good things. :) I am sure Cyprus will be a new beginning, we move 2008.

DeeDeePuss,
you are lucky to have been there to support your loved ones as they crossed over. i was there for my cat when she passed this year. she was the best friend i spoke of when i wrote my memories of 2006.
sounds like your 2006 is much like my 1991. it was the worst year of my live, and yet it was the best year of my life. i guess it's all in how you look at it. big hugs!
