Employment help

Postby Crivens » Thu Dec 07, 2006 1:00 pm

I'm just moving into a flat in Limassol. I have finished most of the stress involved in moving (f**king removal companies for example...) and have now only one major thing left; setting up my own company.

Basically when I left the UK I handed in my notice at my old company. Luckily they said I could carry on working for them doing the same thing (programmer) for them in Cyprus. To do this I have a new contract as a consultant and they said I would need to setup (probably with an accountant) my own company once I was in Cyprus. Do I actually need an accountant (will just be getting money every month into a Cyprus account pretty much like before)? If not then what do I need to do, or if so then does anyone have the number of a good accountant in the Limassol area?

Hopefully someone will be in the same boat and know exactly what to do.

Cheers
