So, when are we going to get direct flights? It seems all take and no give!! I hope that the EU can now keep its promise to lift the isolation.

When the occupation ends.

It seems all take and no give!

On the contrary, if the above is true, Turkey will be giving a tiny part of what they have signed and are obligated to give, and in return their accession process can continue. They will be taking a lot more than what they are giving.

You have no right to take anything on our loss. The sooner you realize this the better for you. End the occupation, give us back our rights and our land, and then you can have your all your rights back as well. Otherwise don't cry when you face the consequences for the crimes you force against us.

The issue is what the EU will do now Turkey has called their bluff, they have been asked for Ercan and Famagusta will they apply pressure on the GC south to keep their promise to the TCs and lift isolation?? just as Annan declared in a speach yesterday the isolation should be removed.
Get ready for a bumpy ride

OK, Viewpoint, since this is something that will be determined soon, how about for a bet? I really don't care if Turkey will open any of their ports and airports to us. But what I can guarantee you is that EU will not accept the lift of any "isolation" unless the return of Famagusta is involved.

So, by what time are you claiming that EU will lift the "embargo"? Within this month? Next month? Tell me, and lets see who is right.

The total embargo will take time but Ercan and Famagusta are vital to simulate the economy. The stand off is now the ports, the total embargo package will come over time if no solution is found..
