junemichael, are you collecting all those cats from the streets? In Cyprus cats are part of the wildlife. If you see a cat in the street it probably means it was born there and it is wild and not that somebody lost it.

Hi Jody, please call email us direct (see our email on our website) and we wil certainly be able to help you with a puppy for you when you come. We have a puppy at the moment we need to find a home for but he is 10 months old and I think you may want one a bit younger and smaller (he is a medium sized dog), but he is very, very loving and gentle. Please email us and we will give you our telephone number. Where will you be living in January?

Sotos, Don't quite understand what you mean, we rescue injured and sick cats or abandoned kittens, get them healthy and re home them, apart from the ones we can't rehome we keep and they are being taken to the UK early next year as you will see by our website. We also have rescued many many dogs - we try to find if they have an owner but most of the time they don't because of the condition they are in. We have found homes for them. We have one at the moment that we need to find a home for. We also have a dog we rescued that is going to England at the end of January. Also we neuter/spay 15-20 cats per month to try to reduce the number of kittens that are being born all year around meaning more sick/injured/abandoned cats/kittens that need help.

Hi June, Don't take any notice. You are doing an admirable job. We have a Jack Russell and recently took in a stray boxer/lab cross. He adopted us! We tried to locate owners to no avail. He is a treasure. He's now mirco chipped, neutered, fatter, happier and warm. I'd love to take more in and probably would if they turn up on our door step like the last one. The Government needs to do more to stop the spread of strays and start punishing the owners. Did you know that at the begining of the 70's most of the dogs in Cyprus were culled due to an outbreak of disease that spread across to humans. How crazy that after 30 years we are inundated with strays.

Hi Twinkle, thank you for your support and help with giving good homes to animals in need. I did not know about the 70's, just makes us sick that the Government do nothing except follow up calls of someone complaining because a dog barks! We also have 3 kittens we desperately need to find homes for so if you could help we would really appreciate it. All the best

The Jack Russell doesn't like cats. I'm afraid you would be putting them through torture if he got hold of them. Will ask around though at work for any of the animals you have.

Someone has now dumped a beautiful female puppy in the next street to us. She stays in the car park and we feed her but there is no way we can take her home we just don't have the room and we will not send her to a sanctuary to be put to sleep. She is a medium sized dog, very shy but very sweet so if anyone has any ideas on where she can go where she will be loved and looked after please let me know. Thank you everyone for your support x
