EURO COINS ???

Postby Cyprus Vending » Mon Dec 04, 2006 6:45 am

What to expect - CY Mail (online yesterday).

The government will start the euro introduction with 545 million coins in 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 euro cents, worth around 147 million euro, and 79 million euro notes worth 1.7 million euro.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Question Is:-

What happened to the 1 & 2 Euros Coins???

Every other country already in the Euro has them!

Is Cyprus not getting them???

Can anyone help???

Wish we could keep the Cyprus Pound. It gives us nationality, but the Euro is so informal.

I shouldn't worry if the Euro is coming to CY then you can use whatever coins are denominations of the Euro. If ever other Euro country has them, then you can be sure CY will also.
