Hi, any idea, how much it will be including the duty, am definitely interested in the car, but from what I hear the tax can be high.
Thanks in advance.

Hey Highlander

She was Mot'd earlier this year and the Mot is valid until 12/6/2008. "tax'd till" I assume is the road tax and this has been paid for this year. I think they send the new disks out in March for payment by April. Below is a picture of her.

Hi Eternal

I’ve been at the customs and excise department and they claim it’s 5004 CYP for (custom duty, import duty and vat) with no discount for the age of the vehicle while in Cyprus (e.g. 5 years). I think this is a mistake and will take it up with the head of the department.

I’m sure there might be a way around paying all this tax for a local especially if you know somebody in the department. Thus I believe this could be a very good deal. Unfortunately I do not have that much time to go through all the red tape and thats why I'm trying to sell her duty free.

Gideon
