Devious British

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I'm breathing TRNC oxygen in its purest form. As for the 300000, well I care as much about them as they cared for me back in 63 and 74. OK little man? 8) 8) 8)

So you doubt that those lost their homes in 1974 have had children?
It's a very correct prediction to say that 300.000 people would have lived there if it wasn't for you Turks...

Young Klik, I would direct all my anger and frustration at those responsible for the state you guys are in now. You seem like a clever lad, guess who the culprits are.

No disrespect to the refugees DT but klik has just made the highest bid so far. The reports (not that it matters) that I have read on many, many sites have been quoted as 160,000, give or take a few and the number that most give on this site is 250,000 but 300,000 takes the money.

zan, when you guys give a clear number of how many TC's are left and how much the majority settlers have become we'll help you out with a number for the refugees.

incedently, my parents are refugees from Morphou (went and saw their house some time ago but the people didn't let us in) and they've got refugee ID's but I wasn't allowed one.

I sympathise with you there DT. They should have had the decency to offer you coffee and a tour of the house.

My aunt is occupying an ex GC house in Ayorgi, the owner came for a visit, he was offered coffee and food. My aunt told him he would be welcomed back to his house as soon as a solution was found. I was amazed when he said my aunt had made the house beautiful with the extensions and changes to it and that it was now her house and that he had no bad feelings for her at all.

They are now in regular contact and meet up on both sides of the border.

listen, i don't blame the people in that house. They were given it and now they call it home. It was just a peculiar feeling, i'm 31 years old and I'd never lived there but everyone else was in tears.

That's very noble of you DT.

I would have been happier if the refugees was to show their hospitality and a good tour of your house.
