Turkey wrote the Annan Plan....

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Kifeas » Sun Dec 03, 2006 9:51 pm

Klik, apart from your little theories as to who should be regarded a Cypriot and who should not, I have yet to see what kind of solution to the Cyprus problem do you propose, and in which ways this solution can be achieved. I hope you do not believe that with “ambelosophies” (vineyard sophistries) -a sport the Turks are the better experts, we will solve the Cyprus problem; and that the Turkish Cypriots and the Turks, after reading your stories, will make up their mind and depart from Cyprus so that they live the island only to the “real” Cypriots.

You want me to tell you what solution I want?

I never said that the Turks should leave Cyprus. Only those that are here by the will of the Turkish Republic, which excludes all those sent during the Ottoman period. What I'm saying is what all Cypriots are. Remove the settlers and the Turkish Army.

But, when we have Turks that want to be called Cypriots, and disrespect our culture and government, then they are not welcome here and they can follow their friends back to Turkey, like the UN advised many times, in the previous years.

Enosis is out of the question. Only 10 people out of the whole Cypriot population would want Enosis, and those are probably those with the Alscheimer disease...

There's no one solution, but there's at least one thing that has to happen, which is the departure of Turkish troops and illegal settlers. That's the way to a solution, and for some, that is the solution. If people in north like living under the Turkish army, which many do, they can follow them to Turkey. Cyprus is for the Cypriots... The Annan plan was just a way for Turkey to control the whole of Cyprus...Something that will never happen again.

A great example of your "educated" 18yo GC talking like a 12yo, if that's your solution to get rid of the Turkish Army and settlers some of which have lived here for all their natural lives then you just haven't got a clue about anything. The Annan plan gave you what you wanted only a symbolic 650 soldiers would remain and max numbers of settlers would be 45.000 you rejected this. The fact that in a comprehensive solution it is accepted by the TC side that the army together with settlers will depart from the island shows you are not aware of what has been agreed and just continue with the spew out the same brainless rhetoric your parents have drummed into you.

Tell us how you would balance the political side of a united Cyprus or how you will provide Security, lets hear what you have been brain washed with.

First of all, don't use the term "united". That shows that there are two states in Cyprus, whereas there's only one.

It's LIBERTY of Cyprus that we are looking for. If you wanna call it unification, suit yourself.

And the Turkish army in Cyprus was not the only thing in the PARTITION plan by the UN and God knows whoelse...

ALl deposits in Turkish Lira would be exchanged into cyprus pounds. Until such time as the euro would be introduced.
