It is overloaded. How many requests can you do with the free Google API key?

I've modified the search slightly so as to make it more flexible. You can type something like 'agios' or 'airport'. Also to make searching slightly more efficient, search queries are performed only on the map point titles.

Heres a couple for you to add:

Girne/ Kyrenia 35.20N 33.20E

Lapta/ Lapithous 35.21N 33.11E

These places are already included in the database (with their alternative spellings)

Google requests are unlimited but are subject to their 'Terms of Use'

Just for info - I use Internet Explorer 7, and haven't had any problems accessing the site.

I've added one more feature to CyMap.

You can now create a link (i.e. a URL) to a specific location on the map together with a marker.

e.g.
http://www.cymap.info/maps/goto?lat=35.190048&lon=33.43513&zoom=15&desc=What+is+this%3F
http://www.cymap.info/maps/goto?lat=34.931871&lon=32.637366&zoom=18&desc=Hidden+treasure+here%21
