Yuck, pork farms make the only decent pork pies in uk

:D

Being a world class connoisseur on the humble Pork Pie I have to have my 10 pence worth and say that the Pork Farms variety is infinitely better than Tescos own brand but still cannot touch the Original and best from Dickenson and Morris in Melton Mowbray.

Sad to hear about the Fassouri Citrus farms going. That's a nice drive from Limassol, through the Old Port area and out to Erimi and Episkopi. Does this mean the Flea Market will be going? and the little shops where we buy the logs for our fire (Adamos).

8) ive visited Lidl in both Germany and U.K. and found that prices are slightly higher in the U.K. (no change there then) so i expect they will be a bit more expensive in Cyprus, but still very cheap and very good quality...got some good gardening tools off of them at a good price.
A lot of their stuff is TUV approved which is a german MOT/Which type organisation..roll on Lidl.

I never understand why pafos is the last to get anything, you would think whoever does the marketing would know that almost a 3rd here are Brits, so would be an ideal place to put a lidls. :(

The marketeers probably also realise that the vast majority of the lccals are also fed up with high supermarket prices and want to place their outlets where the majority of the population are ie Limassol and Nicosia.

Although Brits make up a large percentage of the Paphos area. The greater spending power is with locals with families in other parts of the Island
