i was just curious as to what kind of video outputs their boxes have and what resolution the cy channels broadcast at .. anyone know?

Mivision box has a proprietary socket. You need to use one of their own wires. There are 3 wires that output different ways: composite, s-video or component. Maybe there is one for scart also. The Cyprus channels broadcast in standard definition 576 horizontal lines. I think the resolution for that is 720x576.

Some satellite channels are already in HD. But I think we will have to wait at least 2 more years for the Cyprus channels.

Cablenet will be launching HDTV on their digital channel lineup beginning of 2007
