mrfromng , let me say that those Cypriots , the ones who are hell bent on destroying our beautiful island , are the minority .I know so many G/Cs and T/Cs and and I will spit in the face of any Cypriot who considers his compatriot to be of a lesser human being than him self. Our communities WIIL co exist in the future just as they did in the past. We shall win , we shall rejoice as Cypriots and peacefuly interact as we did when we were kids.
I have come across the people you say "look on us as lesser people than themselves. Some even refer to us as "subhuman". And you know what ? They are the scum of the earth , the parasites that inflict deadly bites on the Cypriot people , they are not worth worrying about, believe me I'm not in the minority the majority are decent peace loving family people just as you and I .

The more friends you make with Cypriots , Turkish or Greek speaking , the more safety devices are in place to control emotional outbursts because you think of the people you like and as it is natural , you do not want to cause offence. I wish our politicians would get to know each other on a personal basis away from the political influences and I m certain that a lot of good would materialize. I could never be rude to people I like , and I like the T/Cs and I do avoid apportioning blame for all the horrible events that occurred in Cyprus. I accept hat in a democracy every one has the right to express views that dont necessarily reflect either the truth or the views of those who share ethnicity or religion.
