Having not been on this site for ages, I tune in and what do I find, a defaced TRNC flag and comparing the TRNC flag to excrement.

In the UK - as in the US I'm sure - we don't take too kindly to people who disrespect an entire nation in this way, and as you well know, the TRNC flag represents the Turkish Cypriot people around the world and any other citizens of North Cyprus.

You should recall the TRNC flag came about after the events of 1974, when 9 years of negotiations failed to yield results. So to project ALL your ills from 1974 onto a single flag is absurd.

Also, as in Annan Plan, any solution is likely to still give Turkish Cypriots their own flag that represents their own identity. So you better get used to it Piratis! Turkish Cypriots are here to stay and if you can't show them respect, you add another nail into the wall that creates permanent division.

Rude_Girl, the "trnc" flag represents nothing more than crimes and illegalities. There is no "TC nation" or "TC country". In Cyprus there is only one country, the Republic of Cyprus, and anybody that supports otherwise is a human scum that rightfully can be represented by the flag Sotos posted.
