How Turkey can avoid a train crash

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

GCs made proposals for the modification of some racist parameters in that constitution. But since you didn't accept them those modifications were not made. All you had/have to do if you don't like a change from the 1960 agreements is to reject them, nobody has their right to impose changes (the same goes for us. This is why we had the right to reject the Annan plan).

Still why would you refuse to even discuss the changes of some of those parameters, e.g. that the 18% of TCs should take the 30% of government jobs. Don't you think that this is racist and unfair, especially in a country that everybody wants to be a government employee?

Lillikas said before leaving for Finland that the Finnish proposal had not changed with regard to Varosha as was reported by some in the Turkish and Greek press. Lillikas had this to say....

"The Finnish presidency has made it clear to us officially, and in negotiations, that it will not accept new elements in the package it presented..."

With the following statement, we can conclude that Varosha is indeed on the table. To those who do not accept this Finnish proposal because it would entail giving up a ghost town, should realize by now that your bargaining chip has become bad PR. Foreign press never reported what Varosha was and now all of a sudden, its getting wide publicity.

oh come on piratis, it wasnt racist...it ensured stability and guarantee of freedom...yes it was unfair...i completely agree with u...but it also ensured that TC's didnt fall into becoming third class citizens in their own country...thats why they were there...not in the intention of being unfair...i agree with u that under a perfect government, this would never be the case anyway, no perfect government would make TC's a third class citizen...but then again, what government do we know is perfect? lol...u kno, i agree that it didnt allow for the perfect flow of governmental operation but it is there for the reasons that i have stated...and in my opinion, a necessary...and even, some of the proposals were accepted by the TC's...just not all of them...

and actually yes, when we rejected the proposals EOKA B said screw u guys then, we're takin the whole island...lol...so yes, there are ways that it can be forced upon us...

Yeah, but wot about this train crash?

We've not had many here recently and boredom is setting in.

If there were trains in Cyprus today there wouldn't be so many road deaths! What about a high speed track from Paphos to Larnaca and then up to Lefkosa?
