We a British couple who have been living & working in Thailand for the past 5 years, but are planning a move back to Europe next year - to either Cyprus or Southern Spain (a warm climate plays an important factor in our decision making since we're now so acclimatised to tropical living
) . Obviously living costs in Asia are very different from those in Europe, & we're a bit out of touch - so any information from those of you permanently resident there would be much appreciated to aid with budget planning.
We would also appreciate suggestions for suitable areas to explore as possibilities for basing ourselves. As most of our businesses rely heavily on access to the internet we need a good infrastructure, but would prefer to live in a peaceful location away from the tourist masses.
