Would they be millipedes or centipedes Dadalushe? The former are herbivorous but the latter are carnivorous!

Hi Gorillagal
With all due respect that is way off the mark with this one. Almost utopian.

Only the breed known as chomping-on-homo-sapiensum. The purpose of the sting is to induce anaphylaxis.

Isn't anaphylaxis the street in Limassol where they sell all the computers?

Well - pretty sure these are millies! They are black, crusty on top, and light coloured underneath. They curl up if you attack them, and they are about 4 - 5 inches long. Don't know if they are veggies or homo-sapien-stingers cos I haven't been close enough to find out. Nearest I've been is the end of a broom handle!!!

Correct! they are Millies..perfectly harmless.. i actually think they are quite cute, along with the tree frogs, i didnt know you got them in Cyprus - Im bugs mad so these along with searching in rock pools will keep me happy for hours!
For your info Centipedes are usually an orange brown colour, they have much bigger body segments and move a lot quicker than millies....and they look quite nasty too..sweep the millies away gently - but dispose of the centipedes as you will.........

Thanks for the info BOF. Will be a 'little' bit more gentle when I sweep them away in future!
