No Andri -- I'm not one of those whinging Brits who want everything in Cyprus to be like the UK but with sunshine -- although I must say the Brits who have bought in Cyprus have contributed to the wealth of the Island by no uncertain means which is good because tourism is falling due to the high costs.

The only problem is the island is slowly being filled with concrete

My home in Cyprus is in a Cypriot residential area -- I'm not really interested in the British Club of professional whingers and I'm quite happy accepting Cyprus as it is and Cypriots as they are --- warts and all .

But hey the sunshine is a real bonus though isn't it --- and reminds me of my childhood

My comments were directed at those misguided brainwashed "FOREIGN "Cypriots who ha vent got the brain cells to distinguish their true identity and embrace that of the very foreign nations that have brought so much pain suffering and death to our beautiful island. Do they not see that the way forward is to rid ourselves from the dark chains that were imposed upon us .I HATE FOREIGN F..NG FLAGS REPRESSENTING CYPRUS.

As far as the Brits go , long may they continue to settle in Cyprus and contribute , as they have done for many years , to the economy of Cyprus. We , the 250 thousand Cypriots who live in the UK , are grateful for the opportunity that this nation , the UK, has given us to improve our standard of living and made us into one of the most successful and respected Ethnic group in the UK.

Likewise i have bought a resale apartment within a cypriot residential area...i dont want to be on a complex with a swimming pool perhaps having neighbours who are like the very people i left the U.K to get away from, or renting out their apartments to noisey ignorant chav's bent on having a good time at everyone elses expense.......I will attemt to integrate.....the language may take a little longer!!!

How in the Hell do locals obtain their drivers license. Must have a friend who has a friend who knows someone. I also disdain the lack of customer service and the government worker mentality.
