Closing of check points

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Closing of check points

Postby humanist » Fri Nov 24, 2006 11:23 pm

"Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat warned that the move could lead to the closure of the crossing points, as anxiety would deter Turkish Cypriots from going south".

Once again a decison made by Turkish Speaking Cypriot leadership, to close off their community and supress their people even further. How des the leadership in the north expect their 7,000 people who cross to the south everyday to live, by suppressing them their right to work in the south. Man you are destroying your own peoples livelyhood. Wake up! my dear Cypriot friends, the ones in power in the north have hidden agendas that meet their needs only and are leaving you in the dark ages.

I agree. We should all rise and cross the boarder to immediately get arrested.

If they want to close the crossing points let them do it.
Most of those that go to the occupied areas are those that play to casinos, go to cabarets or do other illegal activities.

Only the TCs can lose from such development.

Cabarets and casinos illegal…not in the TRNC come one come all your crooks.

Talat is responding to Tpap making a case of arresting people that cross the boarder to make it harder and harder for us to survive. Perhaps he should kiss the hand that beats him.
