Hi all

I have just joined your group, the main reason is this group has a sence of humor.

I am a 54yr old Born in east end of london now living in Essex.

I have been an entertainer for over 40yrs and amoung other entertainment things i am the lead singer with 60s hit band The Honeycombs.(check out the website)

Married to Julie who is a dancer
2 grown up kids
2 step kids
3 grandaughters
1 granson
Rotwieler called Ozzie
Budgie call noisey f"""er
2 ex wives (lol)

We have an appartment in Liopetri and counting the days till we are in a position to move to Cyprus for good.

Welcome to the forum Tony. As a optimistically naive 'Brit' who thought the forum would be a good place to start I can positively say that reading the forum questions and answers does teach you a lot about the general feelings in Cyprus and gives a realistic view on the attitudes you may experience.

You can't expect perfection but there is an underlying optimism and camaraderie.

No i have never lived on the Isle of wight

Yes i do still sing was out tonight with The Honeycombs, John Leyton and Wee Willie Harris in Northampton thats why I am so late on here.

Tomorrow I am working with 60s micks The Bachelors, that is always a good piss up

I have a lovey wife now for the last 12yrs who is a fair bit younger then me, and at the time i was uncertain if i shold marry her or adopt her (lol)

I have a terrible sence of humor that always gets me in the shit

My poor old Mum always used to say to me in her mumsey way
"Tony my son" you are such an arsehole, the doctor must have kept the afterbirth and dumped the baby when you was born"

Yep from your photo you definitely look like a Leyton boy. I would guess you are from the Midland Bridge end????
Just as they have built you a new stadium to watch the Orient you are moving away. I bet you have played the standard pub a few times as well.

You were not to far out mate my last Leton home was 200yd fron the Lion and Keys

Yes done the royal standard many times in the 70s.

As for the stadium
It a f"""ing council estate

4 huge block of flats
west side stand that cost £13 million( more then st marys in Southampton
a run down east stand
and a south stand that was a building site for 5yrs
now the north stand has been a building site for the past 2 yrs
and a chairman that only lines his own pocket
