Apparently on the British bases they separate everything into different, coloured bins.

Then the Cypriot dustmen turn up every week and empty the lot into the back of the dustcart.

Same scenario then! What is the point?

Do the officials on the bases know this?

I may be wrong here, but my wife and I both wanted to know, before the new coloured bins emerged, where, if anywhere, we could recycle. We sourced a location near to Orphanidis in Nicosia. After you turn of the main "ring road" Its just past the Orphanidis junction.

As I said I may be wrong, but it certainly looks like a recycling centre to me. And it would appear that people were "delivering" recyclables independently. I'll post a pic of the location. I'll look into this and report back later. Its slightly worrying if

is correct and yet there is a location available.
