1983-2006 Long Live the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

But the member states have the final say on crucial issues, eg Financial aid the the North. and tiny "RoC" can use its veto to stop any decision that will effect her negatively. This is what we want we don't want to be forced to do anything against our will and of course if the decisions are taken for the benefit of both sides then we will not use a veto as we will stand to benefit as well.

We know very well what you want: partition.

What you call "unity" is the unity that Ireland and Lithuania have between them within EU. So in effect you want two separate countries in an association.

What we have is ONE COUNTRY, like any other EU country. You will get your individual rights like every other Cypriot and European citizen, PLUS you will get your community rights (those that EU asks from Turkey to give to Kurds, but Turkey refuses)

Don't tell me that you don't agree, that you are not Kurds but the super-Turks etc. We know very well what is the only thing you will agree on, and we are not trying to convince you. Just be prepared to accept what I am telling you for when you will not be able to force your illegalities, crimes and division of our country anymore.

Meanwhile you and Turkey can "enjoy" the consequences of your insistence on the illegal occupation of Republic of Cyprus.
