Sorry if this is old hat to everybody else - we are relatively new kids (?) on the block.
We are looking for cheap ways to visit while we wait for our house to be built, and recall seeing adverts in the Cyprus press for cheap one-way flights to UK. Organising out is relatively simple, but getting anything for more than 14 days is a bit messy, and can get expensive.
We are looking at getting a cheap flight to Larnaca from, probably, Heathrow, and sorting out the return flight when we are good and ready.
Obviously, we would not be doing this if we did not have the use of a flat in Cyprus, so accommodation doesn't affect anything.
Any comments or tips would be appreciated.

Hello 'sandalex' if I may make a suggestion to you regarding your enquiry, I know of a couple who regularly travel from the U.K. and back and have operated a quite useful little ruse in achieving cheap flights.
Look into your local travel agents and enquire as to the availability of cheap seven day self catering stays, simply book up and don't fly back on the day. then do the same in reverse.
You may find even cheaper deals by applying to agents further from your home town, perhaps you have friends in the north ?, it seems that the further away from the airport, the less you have to pay. Get your friends to do the deal for you and let them post your tickets. Good Luck
