Top marks Dalco!

We ordered on Sunday, they called us Monday morning to arrange delivery on Thursday (today).

This morning at 9am the driver called to say he was on his way.

He has now delivered the freezer, un[packed it and removed all of the packaging materials.

Top marks!

Their service can be good but what about their products? I have the impression that their quality is much lower from brands like Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, sharp etc. Are their products made in China?

We just bought a freezer so I can’t comment on all of their products.

The service however was excellent and the manual in English (we’ve bought appliances here before and have struggled to get English manuals). They deliver free for orders over CY£100.

I think you’d find that many ‘branded’ products that you buy today are made in China anyway.

For instance, when I ran my business in the UK we supplied test equipment for Motorola’s mobile ‘phone manufacturing facility in Scotland. Now, their entire manufacturing plant has been moved to China but I don’t think you would consider the products ‘second class’ because of it?

I think they whole brand name product stuff is an illusion. A lot of the non-brand name products nowadays come with an equally good and some times better warranty anyway, they cost less and at the end of the day the service you get is mighty important also.

www.footlocker.com

they are a huge American retailer and they ship to Cyprus.

keep the E-invoice they send you to present to the post office, as you have to pay VAT on any orders and they need it as proof.

I just bought two pairs of Timberlands and some trainers.
